Onboarding & Behavioural Consultation

A 2 hour onboarding and behavioural consultation designed to set the foundation for a calmer, more connected life with your dog.

This is a mandatory first step for all new clients.

This session goes far beyond basic obedience. We take a deep dive into your dog’s behaviour history, daily routines, environment, and emotional needs to understand why behaviours are happening, not just what you’re seeing on the surface.

We look at the full picture, how your dog is navigating your home, your routines, and your lifestyle, so we can identify patterns, triggers, and underlying causes. This allows us to move away from quick fixes and instead create lasting change that feels natural and sustainable in your day to day life.

You’ll leave this session with a clear understanding of your dog, along with practical guidance you can start implementing right away.

Following the consult, a fully customized training plan is created for you, tailored to your dog, your goals, and your lifestyle, ensuring everything works together seamlessly.

This session is required before booking any training sessions, as it ensures every program is built with intention and set up for long term success.

Our most popular service, designed to create real, lasting change in your day-to-day life with your dog.

1 hour sessions.

These sessions are fully customized and focus on both ends of the leash. We work on helping you better understand your dog’s behaviour, communication, and needs, while building practical skills that feel clear, manageable, and easy to apply within your home and daily routines.

Training takes place in your dog’s actual environment, where behaviour naturally shows up — whether that’s in the home, on walks, or out in your regular spots. This allows us to work through challenges in real time and create progress that feels relevant, realistic, and sustainable for everyday life.

The goal is to create more ease, clarity, and consistency between you and your dog, so things feel smoother, more predictable, and more enjoyable as a whole. Each session builds on the last, giving you the structure, support, and guidance needed to create lasting results.

A behavioural consultation is required before starting 1:1 training, and a minimum commitment of 3 sessions is required. The recommended number of sessions will be determined following your consultation, based on your dog, your goals, and the level of support needed.

Train & Transfer (Walk & Train)

1 hour sessions (number of sessions determined during your behavioural consultation).

This service is designed to help your dog learn in the environments where real life actually happens. Training is done directly by a certified professional during structured walks and in everyday settings such as neighbourhoods, trails, and around natural distractions. (Your dogs excersise & training all in one!)

The focus is on building calm, reliable behaviour through repetition and consistency in real world situations, rather than just controlled environments. This helps your dog learn how to make better choices when it actually matters.

Just as importantly, the process is designed to carry over to you. You are included in the learning so that the skills your dog develops are not just temporary, but can be transferred back to your handling and daily routine for long term success.

A behavioural consultation is required before starting this service so we can ensure it is the right fit and set clear goals from the beginning.

$120 + applicable taxes

Adventure Hikes

1-1.5 hour structured off-leash group walks that combine enrichment, exercise, and real-world training. Your dog gets to explore, sniff, socialize, and be a dog while naturally reinforcing the skills we've been working on.

Walks take place at rotating locations including lakeside trails, off-leash trails, and escarpment hikes. Each environment provides different distractions and opportunities for your dog to practice recall, engagement, and making good choices in the real world.

The goal is to build reliable skills while giving your dog the freedom and enrichment they need to thrive. Training happens naturally throughout the walk, so your dog is learning while doing what dogs do best; exploring. If your dog is not ready to be fully off leash, a long line will be used to build skills with the goal of being fully off leash.

An Assessment and Train & Transfer sessions are required before joining to ensure reliable recall and that every dog can safely participate in a group off-leash environment.
